Things have changed.

Yeah friends, many things have changed since we now have our new apartment, as you all know. This was a post I was really excited to write, because it has been a big step for us, but we have been so busy these days... so many things in our agenda. And it looks more crowded each day so we are not going to have a break, let me show you, I am going to put a calendar with the events going on in our life soon.

As you know we have been for two weeks now in the new apartment and we are very happy as the previous one we were in was a last-moment choose, and was very good to start in the city, but not the place of our dreams.

Now we are in a new building with proper double-glaced windows, modern washing machine and dryer, big bathroom, full kitchen with a big fridge and oven, recycling facilities, parking for bikes... everything someone could wish, hehe (well not so much but you can understand). And what´s more impresive is that we are just 100 meters from our previous house. Given that the zone in the city we are right now liked us a lot and we didn´t want to change that.

A view of our new kitchen, small but with everything we need.

One of the big changes is that we now don´t have ambient music in the house anymore, the gym is gone and so when you sit quietly in the new house the only thing you listen to is nothing, that´s a big step. Another advantage is that we don´t have to go a long way to clean our clothes in the laundry shop, we have everything at home, marvellous.

We have the dryer and a cupboard full of food, for you pleople who visit us... well it´s for us but we will share some with you hehe.

Another BIG thing is that we have a BIG fridge, not those half-size ones, in which the freezer is just as big as a shoe-box, and you cannot put more than two things inside, now we can cook a lot and put everything in the freezer to eat in some days. And even more, we now have an oven, where Laura cooks some delicious cakes and foods... I am really happy about the oven as you can imagine hehehe.

And when you decide to have a shower, in the previous house you had no room to move, given it was a squared small place... and now you have to take two steps to move in the bathtub and get to the shampoo, that´s sweet, and I still laugh everytime I do it.

Our marvellous-best-in-the-world bathroom.

Another good thing is that now we have NTL, cable TV to speak clearly, and can watch many different programs in the comfort of our sofas in the living room. We wanted to buy a TV we saw in Tesco which was a 27'' with DVD player for 50€... really cheap, but we didn't have money and when we went again to buy it, guess... it was gone... something so cheap couldn't stay there for long. How unlucky we were, but life goes on and we have a borrowed TV from Laura's parents which is small but enough for us at the moment. That will be until we find another deal around... at whatever the time, we don't mind waiting for long, and we will finally have a big TV.

Our living room, where you will be sleeping if you come ;).

And what else... well, now we have a lovely bedroom, with a very nice bed, where I fall asleep almost instantaneously, it is soooooooooooo comfortable. And now we have two wardrobes, where we can put the big amount of clothes we already have here... when I take a look at my clothes, thinking all I have in Malaga, what I have in Madrid and all I have here... I think I will never go again to buy any clothes, but anyway I always find something I would like to have so...

"Lovelybed".

And well, thats pretty much everything our house has to offer, you had a pretty good virtual tour in this post for the time you come. The only thing I am missing is a small room we have where we put inside all the things, boxes, suitcases, shoes and junk we already have, but of course if you want to see that, you will have to come and see it by yourself. We don´t intend to put pictures of that room all around the internet, so many things there we should tidy up...

Well, finally I have to say that we are very happy in our new house and hope many of you come and see it with your own eyes. Some recent changes we have had are that we don´t have TV because they disconnected the cable (we thought it was free but it looks like it isn´t) it seems to be 20€ a month, so I imagine we will pay them because the TV is a good way to improve your English. But by contrast we now have a more stable internet and can connect from any point in the house thanks to a configuration I did with a Fonera access point. I will continue investigating because I want to connect to a better wifi network instead of the one we have, and also because this access point is very powerfull and allows you to do lots of things with the linux it has inside, and with a web configuration interface called dd-wrt.

Take care.

No me he olvidado de vosotros.

Holaholaholaaaaaaa. ¿Cómo están ustedeeeeeessss? ¿Bien? Me alegro, me alegro.
